Textual Practice, and Rethinking Marxism.
I am the author of Genres of Transition, the editor of
Roberto Schwarz and World Literature, and the
co-editor, with Sinan Richards, of Understanding
Lacan, Understanding Modernism.
I am currently working on a book about the history of
Brazilian abstract art, provisionally titled Mondrian’s
Firebomb: Avant-Garde and Underdevelopment in Brazil.
