I am a writer based in London with interests in art,
Marxism, and psychoanalysis.
My writing has appeared in e-flux, Brooklyn Rail,
Parapraxis, Los Angeles Review of Books,
The Toe Rag, and The BREAK—DOWN. I’ve also
published in academic journals like Qui Parle,
Paragraph, Textual Practice, and Rethinking Marxism.
With Sean O’Brien, I co-edited a special issue of
CLCWeb titled ‘Keywords for Value and Culture.’
I am also the co-editor, with Sinan Richards,
of Understanding Lacan, Understanding Modernism.
Currently, I am working on a project about art in Latin
America, provisionally titled Disagreeable Objects:
Avant-Garde and Underdevelopment in Latin America.
I am on the editorial board of Mediations, the journal
of the Marxist Literary Group.
